Today we’re excited to announce that Nodeboost now supports Secure Token Authentication with optional IP binding. You’ll now see a “Token Auth” section in the left menu when you manage your Nodeboost configurations.
This method of content protection provides a middle-ground between the simplicity of the Referer header checks and the more complex API authentication checks. In secure token authentication you set up your URLs to contain a token and a timestamp parameter (.Token and .Timestamp respectively). Our edge servers can then validate access to your URLs using these two parameters. Enabling secure token is as simple as providing your token secret and optionally enabling IP address binding.
For more information head on over to the Token Auth article in the Nodeboost Knowledge Base.
